How much is an OEC?
An OEC will cost you CAD$2.75 and is valid for 60 days.
OWWA membership is CAD$33.00 and is valid up to 2 years.

Can I apply for an OEC online?

What is an OEC?
An Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC) is a document issued by the Philippine Government to Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) to help keep track of Filipino nationals leaving the Philippines to work abroad.
OEC is also called an Exit Clearance.
Officers from the Bureau of Immigration (BI) at the airport will check your documents before you board your flight.
If you have a Work Permit or Work Visa (or similar document) attached to your Philippine passport, you will need to have an OEC or an exemption.
Who needs to apply for an OEC?
OFWs who are leaving the Philippines for the first time, and OFWs returning to work overseas need to apply for an OEC or an exemption.
How to apply for an OEC online?
If you are a new user, go to : [http://www.bmonline.ph/] and register as a New User.
You will need a valid email address in order to register.
LOG IN TO YOUR ACCOUNT
You’ll have to have your last OEC number. If not, you’ll have to schedule an appointment online.
UPDATE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
If you have already registered, take a look and make sure that all your personal details are up-to-date.
GET OEC OR EXEMPTION
Click Acquire OEC or Exemption for online assessment.You’ll need to have your flight details available. Enter the date of your departure and confirm that you are going back to work for the same employer.
HOW DO I KNOW IF I NEED TO APPLY FOR AN OEC?
If you are going back to work with the same employer, you do NOT have to apply for an OEC.
HOW DO I KNOW IF I NEED TO APPLY FOR AN EXEMPTION?
If you are NOT going back to work with the same employer, you will need to apply for an OEC. Schedule an appointment at your local POEA office to apply for your OEC.
